About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist and have a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and in Mental Health. I have worked in the NHS as a principal psychotherapist in teams that deliver services to those experiencing a range of different issues, including addiction problems. I believe in using my abilities to fit the needs of my clients and working collaboratively on the issues that are causing them distress. I do not believe in a one size fits all type of therapy but rather in adapting my approach to what the individual, couple or family require. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is all important and pivotal to the client’s ability to make the changes they require. I think that it is my role as a therapist to assist the client in achieving a happier life and fulfilling their individual needs.
My first session
I normally offer a free phone consultation to establish what the client needs from therapy and whether I feel we will be able to work well together. I then offer an assessment appointment which the client pays for and which is slightly more than my sessional rate.
