About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in Neurodiversity, Trauma, Anxiety, Communication and Relationships. I am a qualified practitioner of  REWIND trauma therapy at the International Association of REWIND Trauma Therapy, a RELATE trained couples counsellor and registered Performing Arts therapist with BAPAM.

REWIND TRAUMA THERAPY 'Closure without Disclosure' is a separate treatment for PTSD, OCD and Phobias. Please enquire for details. REWIND is a fast non-invasive, non-re-traumatising, gentle process.

COUNSELLING All my work is integrative and held within a confidential, calm, quiet safe space for you and with you to discover your needs, your health and your happiness.

Every person and experience will have an impact on you. How you respond and react will be normal for you, but may no longer be working or healthy.

Distressing thoughts, experiences, feelings and sensations may linger or may lay hidden away. Our work together will unravel and witness these to clear the way for change.

Our work may cover healthy coping strategies, communication, assertiveness, relationship and confidence building. relaxation, body awareness and time to just get stuff off your chest.

PERFORMING ARTISTS I am  a Registered counsellor with the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine or  BAPAM for actors, musicians, singers and dancers who self refer or come through BAPAM.

YOUNG PEOPLE

Confidence building is at the core of my work with young people. Empowering healthy control and communication, concentration and social interaction, for a happier experience whether at school, University, home or with peer groups.

COUPLES

What differs in couples work is the focus on the relationship between the two of you and how to take that relationship forwards, inequality and with a joint purpose. No bias or siding with one or the other exists. Both of you, as individuals, have a right to be heard and as a couple, a right to find stability without oppression, blame, fault or hurt.
