About me and my therapy practice
I'm Dr John Wilson. I specialise in working with loss of all kinds. That includes bereavement, relationship breakdown, changes in health, retirement and redundancy. I work in collaboration with you, helping your to discover what you need, and supporting you in adapting to how your life has changed. I am described as a therapeutic counsellor, which means I sometimes work long term with clients.

Practice description
My practice is a pleasant room in a secluded garden, a little haven away from a busy world. Comfortingly warm in winter, relaxingly cool in summer.
My first session
Your first session is for you and I to decide in we can work together, because nothing is more important than the therapeutic relationship. For this reason I do not charge for the first session, because I believe clients should feel able to find the right therapist before they decide. By the end of the session I will be able to tell you if I can help and how I suggest that we work together.
