About me and my therapy practice
I am an empathic experienced Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, Counselling Supervisor & Accredited (CYPT) Children and Young People's Therapist offering a safe calming environment with a unique blend of counselling & well-being. I specialise in supporting neurodiversity; the range of differences in individual brain function and behavioural traits such as A.S.D, ADHD/ADD, SpLD; Dyslexia and Dyscalculia, Emotional Dysregulation and others issues such as end of life care, cancer, trauma, self-harm, depression, low mood, suicidal ideation, low self-esteem and so on..
My experience covers a wide range which includes working closely with Family Law Practitioners. Further supporting and advising corporate and educational settings, this requires a different model and approach.
Educational Assessments we offer official diagnoses of Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and ADHD.
Life can be difficult, frustrating and lonely when you realise you think differently, having a chaotic mind that lacks focus can cause so many problems in our lives. I understand these differences that is why I mould my therapeutic approach that fits your world. I am totally respectful of each clients' uniqueness and fully understand the journey of self-discovery and healing is a lifelong commitment.
My personal journey has been painful and blighted and life changing. This is why I apply a practical combination of counselling modalities such as person-centred, humanistic, psychodynamic and psycho-education because our journey is not an easy one. If you decide I have the right experience as a counsellor to support your life changing journey and you are committed to healing and transforming areas of your life. It's simple either email or call and together we can tackle and explore patterns in your emotions and thoughts, analysing your belief system to gain a deep insight into your current ‘Self’”.
Taking that first step can be difficult, I will make it easy for you..

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Senior Accredited Counsellor, Clinical Counselling Supervisor & Accredited CYPT with the National Counselling Society with many years' of experience working neurodiversity such as A.S.D, ADHD/ADD & SpLD. I believe the role of the Supervisor should be inspiring, supportive, informative and challenging but most of all collaborative.
I use the Seven-Eyed model which was developed by Peter Hawkins and Robin Shohet. I feel this model works well with most theoretical approaches.
I work with members of BACP, NCS and other accredited bodies in the field of counselling/psychotherapy or psychology and agree to apply our professioal bodies code of ethical practice to counselling supervision that we undertake together.
Practice description
Establishing SLCC I specialise in neurodiversity.
When working with neurodiversity I am fully aware of the dynamics and challenges of adults & young people with SpLD. I advocate an inclusive approach with families where appropriate. Having worked in educational settings both state and independent, I am more than aware of the potential safeguarding issues, pressures & demands on the mental health of students. An understanding of adult neurodiversity is essential in enabling clients to grow, fulfil & improve their lives.
As Counsellor/Psychotherapists our case loads and safeguarding issues can be overwhelming but with my experience I can support and guide you in managing the best outcome for both you and your clients.
My first session
In our first meeting we will explore if I am the right Supervisor for your work. If we agree then we can discuss our terms and contact.
