About me and my therapy practice
Whether due to troubling experiences from the past or difficult issues in the present, we may experience stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or just a general sense of being unfulfilled. These issues can affect all aspects of our lives. The goal of counselling/psychotherapy, therefore, is to lead a healthier more fulfilling life by becoming more aware of what holds us back and avoiding the things that throw us off balance.
You will be supported in resolving your troubling issues in order to manage your life for the better.
I offer an initial free online session in which you can meet me and see how I work, and how I am able to help you, and to ask any questions you may have.
I am a psychotherapist/counsellor with 15 years of experience, awarded a Master's degree in Counselling/psychotherapy by Goldsmiths University, accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and trained to work with a range of emotional difficulties including, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, childhood trauma, recent trauma, sexual abuse, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ issues, bereavement, relationship and work-related issues, and personality disorders. I also work with couples.
I aim to respond to new client enquiries within 24 hours.
Counselling/psychotherapy services are £45 online and £55 in-person at Cheltenham Therapy Rooms.
Couple's therapy £60 online and £70 in-person.
I offer fee concessions for those on benefits and therapy trainees; please refer to the Fees and Availability section for more information.
Please note, I'm in the process of updating my website domain to Cheltenham
My first session
I offer a free first session/consultation (online) that lasts 40 minutes. Continued sessions, whether online or face-to-face, last 50 minutes, which is usually called the counselling hour.
The first session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and for me to understand what is troubling you, what you want to achieve from therapy, and how best to support you.
