About me and my therapy practice
I am currently working on the telephone, Facetime, Whatsapp and Skype.
I have 10 years experience working with adults, couples and teenagers and work flexible hours to suit you, Mon - Sat and some evenings. Sessions last for one hour: Individuals £50 and Couples £70, concessions considered. Please visit my website for Client Testimonials.
I work in my private practice at home and as a counsellor in a women’s refuge and I have 7 years experience working with teenagers as a School Counsellor. I am happy to work with you in person, on the telephone or online.
With a Masters Degree in Person-Centred Counselling, I am a registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and practice within their Code of Ethics.
I have had thousands of hours of client contact and this work has addressed a wide variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-harm, relationship problems, loss, grief and bereavement, low self-confidence and esteem, abuse, addiction, trauma, gender identity and sexuality, work difficulties, bullying, parenting, family issues, illness and disability.
I am open to being approached with any issue that you have and aim to help you with my understanding and empathy. If I am unable to help we will discuss an onward referral.
Counselling provides an opportunity to present issues that are causing concern, difficulty or distress to someone who is trained and experienced in providing psychological and relational help. As your therapist I will respect you and your confidences.
My practice is informed by the Humanistic perspective. I work with a person-centred approach believing in the value of the therapeutic relationship and offering confidentiality and empathy in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

About me and my therapy practice
I have been counselling for 12 years, and I have recently qualified in 2023 to become a supervisor.
I am a person-centred practitioner and I offer supervision to fellow counsellors, trainee counsellors and to other professionals who work directly with people in a supporting/helping role.
As a supervisor, I aim to support supervisees to reflect on all aspects of their clinical work by creating an environment that facilitates open and honest communication that helps develop reflective practice, where the welfare of clients and the quality of therapy is central.
