I have worked in an occupational health setting for many years which has provided me with a breadth of experience including:
Anxiety

Depression
Family issues
Relationship problems
Work-related stress
Low self esteem and self worth
Low self confidence
Bereavement
Loneliness and Social Anxiety
Practice description
Counselling can help build confidence and reduce anxiety and stress. It is important to find a counsellor you trust and feel comfortable with.
I provide a supportive therapeutic relationship. I do this by offering a confidential space to reflect on how you are feeling and to explore what is going on in your life.
Sometimes it can be hard to open up to people in our lives. Counselling is a chance to speak to someone completely separate from your friends and family.
It is an opportunity for you to focus on yourself and how life is impacting you.
My first session
I understand it can be daunting reaching out to a stranger for help. I am more than happy to arrange an informal chat for you to get to know me and ask any questions about starting counselling. Please send me a message if you would like to arrange this.
What I can help with
Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Child related issues, Depression, Infertility, Loss, Menopause, Personal development, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Stress, Women's issues, Work related issues

About me and my therapy practice
As a counselling supervisor, I offer a balanced approach of support and challenge. My supervision provides a safe, reflective space where supervisees can explore their practice, gain insights into the client-counsellor relationship, and develop greater self-awareness.
By working together as a team, I ensure that supervisees feel heard, understood, and empowered in their counselling practice. My background is integrative so I sit in between person centred and CBT. I have worked in varied organisations most notably Occupational Health and EAP as well as Higher Education. I have also held my own private practice for the last few years. If you feel we could be a fit please do get in touch.
