About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited therapist, working in private practice in East Finchley and Camden Town, offering short-term and long-term counselling on a weekly basis. Through a warm and supportive relationship, we will explore any difficulties you are having in your life right now. We will also look back into your past, to try to understand patterns of behaviour that might not be quite so effective for you today. By exploring feelings and experiences and building self-awareness, we will work together to move towards a positive change for the future.
You might like to start with short-term therapy (12 sessions) or opt for long-term therapy (open-ended). If you find the short-term therapy to be beneficial, you can extend into long-term therapy. The choice is absolutely yours.
For more information please visit my website.
My first session
We will start with two assessment sessions to help us find out if we make a good 'match', and to help you decide if you would like to work with me. There is no obligation to return after these first two sessions.
If you do feel that we could work together, subsequent sessions are 50 minutes long, and take place at the same regular time, agreed by us, once a week. In times of crisis this can be increased to two sessions a week. It is important to commit to attending the weekly sessions in order to gain regular support and continuity.
What I can help with

Types of therapy
