About me and my therapy practice
I offer counselling to individuals. I have been supporting people for 18 years.
I offer both short and long term therapy, using varied approaches such as CBT counselling/psychotherapy
I specialise in Trauma, Rape, Sexual Abuse, Depression Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders
I also work with self harm/suicide, eating disorders, addictions, OCD, shame and guilt and the power of those feelings.
I have many years' experience supporting people with a wide range of mental health concerns and managing crisis.
Approaching therapy can be daunting. I offer free 15 mins call to understand what has bought the person to therapy. I use this time for both client and counsellor to ensure I can offer the right support and the client is comfortable with me.
My approach is integrative with compassion focused, kindness and in a non judgmental respectful way.
I believe with the right support and understanding, individuals have the ability to implement positive change and growth.
Through the process of therapy gaining insight and awareness can enable the person to feel less stuck, less bound in suffering and repeating negative patterns.
I believe that "we" are not our life circumstances or experiences, there is much more to us as humans and which therapy can help show other parts of the self enabling us to reach our full potential.
I offer face to face, skype, telephone and email counselling to accommodate various needs and difficulties.

I work with the person as a unique individual.
I work in a way that will enable you to feel heard understood and where you will feel relaxed.
My aim is to meet you where you are and walk along side you, offering you respect and compassion without judgement.
Therapy is a place for your to feel safe within your self and with me as your counsellor which will enable growth and change.
My Integrity and values will provide you the safety and freedom to share your feelings in an open way, which is key the client's self awareness, future and life decisions.
My aim with the clients transparent input will enable the process of therapy to be fruitful and beneficial long term
My first session
I can offer 15 min free to discuss concerns.
Complete a fuller assessment to ensure the right therapist and approach is suitable to the client.
The client will have time to ask me any questions and arrange your initial assessment and first session.
We can together look at objectives/goals and agree how best to progress forward.
We can discuss costs a time frame you have in mind for the therapy and discuss objectives for you as appropriate.
