About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Registered Systemic Therapist and a member of its Coaching Division, with over 10 years of experience in mental health services. My background includes work with Mind, New Pathways, and the NHS in the treatment of high-risk eating disorders, as well as supporting clients with neurodevelopmental disorders at the Dyscovery Centre, University of south Wales. Most recently, I became an NHS Change Ambassador, focusing on driving positive change and emotional well-being.
I specialise in helping individuals who struggle with attachment issues, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma, all of which are closely connected to emotional regulation shaped by our life experiences. If you've found yourself using food to manage emotions, experiencing intrusive thoughts, or feeling trapped in patterns that don't serve you, we can work together in a safe place to uncover the root causes and create healthier ways to cope.
In addition to this, I have a keen interest in men’s mental health, helping men navigate challenges unique to them.
I also offer menopause counselling to improve your overall quality of life during menopause, empowering you to lead an active, healthy lifestyle
Therapy isn’t just about finding or fixing problems. It can also be a powerful space for increasing self-awareness and personal growth, helping you navigate the everyday challenges we all face. Whether it's developing a deeper understanding of yourself or learning new tools to manage life’s stresses, therapy offers valuable support for enhancing your overall well-being.
Practice description
I offer a systemic and integrative approach, combining various therapeutic methods such as person-centred therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy, NLP, and coaching. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship issues, my goal is to help you gain clarity, break unhelpful patterns, and build emotional resilience.
