About me and my therapy practice
I have over 23 years of experience as a Counsellor and over 15 years experience as a Supervisor. I work with counsellors who have very different core training models and who work with children, young people, adults and couples. I see a number of counsellors who work in a school setting with primary or secondary school students. I have worked as a school counsellor for 9 years (and still do) seeing students from 11 - 18 years with a wide range of presenting issues.
I managed a counselling team for a charity in Tunbridge Wells for 12 years and during this time supervised a number of counsellors. I retired from this role in 2014 but still work with some of their counsellors in a supervisory role.
I have experience of working with qualified and trainee counsellors and may offer concessionary rates for students.
I usually work from my home in Rotherfield where there is ample parking in the driveway and a separate entrance to ensure privacy. I currently do supervision work online (Zoom) and Face to Face.
I am happy to answer any questions or provide further information on the phone or by e-mail. Alternatively we can arrange to meet for an initial introductory session.

About me and my therapy practice
I have over 23 years of experience as a Counsellor (and Supervisor) working with young people, adults and couples. I have worked in a Secondary school with students aged 11 - 18 years for the last 10 years and I have a Private Practice seeing adults, young people and couples at my home in Rotherfield. I also see qualified and trainee counsellors for Supervision. I am currently counselling online (Zoom) and Face to Face.
I believe that counselling offers an opportunity to work through issues and difficulties, with the aim of working towards living a more satisfactory and resourceful life, the Counsellor at all times respecting the aims and objectives of the individual person.
For all counselling work confidentiality is always of the utmost importance and will be observed from the enquiry stage and throughout the sessions. This will be discussed with you before counselling begins.
Most of us, at some stage in our life, experience times of stress, emotional or relationship difficulties, depression, bereavement, or a need to look at our own personal growth or other issues that affect our lives. Patterns of behaviour that we adopt in our childhood in order to survive, often become a hinderance to healthy emotional lives in adulthood. An opportunity to share our thoughts and feelings with another person in a uniquely 'private' environment, away from the interruptions of everyday life, may enable change to occur.
I am happy to answer any questions or provide further information on the phone or by e-mail. Alternatively we can arrange to meet for an initial introductory session.
