Practice description

Work as sole trader. Work from home.

Aim to provide A safe place for counsellors to explore  their work  with clients and keep them and their clients safe. To offer counsellors strategies to help their development as  counsellors

Cost for 1.5 hours is £90.

I have many years of  counselling experience working for numerous EAPs, Cruse Bereavement Care and have worked as a staff counsellor for Rampton Hospital.

Have worked in 2 Doncaster Prisons as a voluntary counsellor.

Have worked for local companies as  a private counsellor and for a Doncaster primary care trust.

My first session

Exploration of what counsellor or trainee counsellor is seeking from supervision.

Explore what conditions I offer counselling supervision.

Exploration of BACP code of practice.

Supervisees must bring any safety concerns about their clients to me.  They must also ensure that they are physically and  mentally fit to counsel.

They must ensure they are fully covered insurance wise to counsel.

They must also be a member of a counselling organisation and abide to the organisation rules and policies.

I work from 9.00am to 6.00pm and do some work 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

About me and my therapy practice

I work in a person centred way to help clients explore their way ahead for their issues.  I am an integrative counsellor  and utilise counselling tools from a number of different counselling orientations including CBT and Person Centred.  This involves offering clients strategies to help them reduce the impact of their issues on their lives. 

I also do Employer Assist Counselling including critical incident work in deferent parts of the country

I work from a dedicated office at my home address.

I also offer couple counselling and

 Critical Incident Work.

Relate Fast Track in Couple Counselling for BACP approved  Qualified Counsellors.  Having completed Univ. of East London Graduate Certificate::Foundation in Couple Counselling, attended designated Continuous Professional Development  Training and completed 240 hours of supervised counselling. 17/3/2015. 





My first session

All sessions last up 60 minutes.  The first session is essentially an assessment session to explore what clients are seeking from the counselling and for me to offer how I see the counselling progressing.
