About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, qualified clinical supervisor and BACP registered integrative counsellor, specialising in work with children and young people. I have worked for the charity Place2Be for many years, offering supervision to counsellors, both experienced and trainee, working with children in schools. I now run a private practice as a therapist and supervisor. I offer an empathic, supportive approach using creative and theoretical approaches to explore and deepen the clinical work with clients. I have extensive experience in safeguarding, multi-agency liaison and working with parents.I AM CURRENTLY OFFERING SUPERVISION SESSIONS EITHER FACE-TO-FACE OR ONLINE, VIA ZOOM.

I see adults throughout the day and on some evenings and am available to work remotely through Zoom if preferred.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor and play therapist. I have many years experience of working in schools both with children and their parents, as well as supporting the school leadership to create an Attachment aware environment for pupils.
I also work privately with adults, young people, children and families. I offer a safe, confidential space to explore whatever it is that brings you or your child to seek help. Please to call for a FREE initial telephone consultation to discuss your situation and hear how I work.
I am now resuming face to face sessions in my therapy room but am happy to offer online work if this is preferred. The room and all equipment is cleaned after each client and is Covid compliant.
I have undertaken additional training in Online work recognised by ACTO.
I am also a qualified Safe and Sound Protocol therapist which I use predominately for the children and young people I work with as an add on therapy. If you are an adult seeking SSP to support on-going therapeutic work elsewhere, I can deliver that either in person or remotely for you.
Practice description
My therapy space is situated in a garden room separate from my house. It is quiet, safe and completely private with comfortable seating and a variety of creative materials.
I am a few minutes walk from the underground station with plenty of free parking nearby.
I do not have a waiting room for parents.

My first session
Adults: Seeking a therapist can feel daunting and confusing but I believe that it is important to find the right person. Please feel free to call me for a FREE phone consultation so that you can share your concerns and hear how I work. If you would like to proceed and we can find a suitable time, we will arrange an initial session for us to meet and explore what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping for. Together we will then make a plan for working together.
Children and Young People: Our first contact will be through a short phone call with a parent to share your concerns about your child and ask me any questions. If you would like to proceed we will then arrange a 60-90 minute assessment session. This is done with the parent(s) at this stage and usually via Zoom. This is a chance for me to gather an understanding of your child, their development and the history of the current problem. We will then arrange for you to visit the therapy room with your child after which he/she will have their first session with me.
