About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Senior Counsellor and Supervisor with extensive experience - supporting counsellors and trainees through clinical supervision. As a therapist trained in Person-Centred Therapy, IAPT, ACT, and SFBT, I bring a diverse skill set to my practice. I have also served as the Managing Director of a counselling organisation, where I trained, mentored, and supervised students and counsellors. My supervision work includes leading group sessions as well as providing one-on-one and I work remotely and face-face.
Practice description
Welcome to my counselling practice, where I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges.
As a qualified Senior Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor, I specialise in helping individuals, couples, and groups navigate life's complexities. My approach is integrative, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy). This blend allows me to tailor sessions to meet your unique needs, whether you're seeking deep exploration, practical solutions, or coping strategies.
My practice is client-focused, meaning your goals, values, and experiences shape our work together. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and aim to build a trusting, collaborative partnership with you. My goal is to empower you to find clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.
In addition to one-on-one counselling, I also offer clinical supervision for counsellors and trainees. With years of experience as a Managing Director of a counselling organisation, I understand the challenges faced by those in the helping professions. I provide both group and individual supervision, offering guidance, support, and a space for reflection and growth.
Clients and clinicians can expect a warm, empathetic approach grounded in professional expertise and a genuine commitment to their well-being. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or simply need a space to process life’s changes, I’m here to help you on your journey to well-being.
My first session
During this session, we’ll focus on understanding your goals, the areas of your practice you wish to develop, and any specific challenges you face. It’s an opportunity - to establish a strong, collaborative working relationship. Ensuring that you feel safe and supported is paramount, as this environment is essential for you to confidently explore your practice, ethics, and approach to therapy.
This initial session sets the foundation for our ongoing work, helping us to tailor the supervision process to your unique professional journey.
