About me and my therapy practice
I am a trauma-informed and trauma-trained Psychotherapist who incorporates person-centred, early developmental approaches with elements of Therapeutic Play, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also a trained EMDR Therapist.
I work with adults and children and also support parents who want to help their children who are dealing with emotional difficulties.
I offer online, face-to-face, and telephone counselling sessions and have practices in Peterborough's PE1 and PE3 areas.
I approach my work with the belief that with the right environment and conditions, you have the innate ability to reach your goals and grow as a person. Together, we can navigate through anything you feel may be holding you back while incorporating proven theories and skills to assist you on your healing path.
My work covers a wide range of areas, and I have a particular interest and experience in working with survivors of sexual violence as well as children and young people. I am also trained to work with adoption and adoption issues.
When you contact me, you can expect a warm and sensitive response, followed by an invitation to make an initial assessment appointment. Assessment sessions are charged in advance.
So that you know, I do require 24-hour notice of any cancellation of an appointment.
