About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes we feel lonely even when we are not alone. It is often difficult to talk with those who are close to us. Having someone who will not only listen to you, but will enable you to feel heard is a very important step toward feeling more positive, empowered and motivated. We often have times when there is so much going on that everything feels tangled and difficult to deal with, affecting our quality of life. Counselling can help to separate things out so that they can be dealt with individually in a safe and confidential way and by exploring any issues or difficulties you may be experiencing to help you move forward more positively. I have a wide experience of working with all types of issues and with various age groups. This includes counselling young people in a school based setting. I also have experience of working with male and female victims and survivors of all types of abuse, trauma, rape and sexual violence. I have worked alogside organisations such as SARC, YMCA, Walking With The Wounded, MAP, One To One Project, The Church of England. I offer a confidential counselling service which is respectful, non-judgemental and non-discriminatory, in a safe and pleasant environment FURTHER TRAINING Diploma in Supervision, Child and Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding, Working with PTSD, Counselling Client Couples, Counselling Survivors and Victims of Abuse, Unlocking Abuse and Managing Its Implications, Working with Loss & Bereavement, Working with Anger & Fear, Working with Abandonment and Attachment Issues, Working with Family Issues.
