About me and my therapy practice
I see supervision as a collaborative, professional relationship which helps to promote learning, personal and professional development, self care and ethical practice. I seek to provide a safe and informative environment offering a safe space in which to explore and make sense of your work and feelings, a place to explore your own thoughts and feelings about client work and yourself within the process. I offer help and encouragement, develop reflective practice, explore transference, counter-transference and projection, develop an understanding of skills and theory whilst enhancing your own internal supervisor.
I bring the breadth of my counselling experience having worked for the past 7 years with both primary and secondary school children, together with counselling families and adults with a charity who specialise in issues such as addictions, anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, relationships and stress, as well as running my own private practice.
I provide supervision either face to face, Skype, Zoom or Facetime at my private practice in Beckenham.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Integrative counsellor, personal therapist and supervisor, a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) working privately in Bromley/Beckenham and also working in a general counselling service and at a number of school settings. I offer counselling to people of all ages, from young children, teenagers, adults and older adults.
I have learnt that counselling is implicitly about helping people to discuss better ways of dealing with personal problems from anxiety, bereavement, generalised anxiety disorder and low self esteem both at home and at work and I have observed that no final distinction can be made between a person's work-based/school-based and home-based concerns, since they are inevitably likely to feed into each other.
My work with individual clients varies from short to long term counselling face to face.
My aim is to encourage clients to explore their feelings, life and problems, in the hope that they will, become easier to understand. My practice is based upon an integrative approach, whereby I blend therapeutic techniques, according to the specific needs of each client.
I adhere by the Code of Ethics and Practice of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy providing confidentiality in a warm, accepting, therapeutic relationship.
