About me and my therapy practice
I’m a qualified clinical supervisor registered with UKCP and BACP.
I offer creative clinical and process supervision to psychotherapists, counsellors, health professionals, coaches, educators, and other professionals interested in reflective practice.
I also have extensive experience as an MA dissertation supervisor.
My aim is to inspire students to find and express their own voice and I specialise in heuristic and hermeneutic phenomenology research methods.
In addition I mentor those who may be daunted by the prospect of undertaking the research work associated with writing an MA dissertation or PhD thesis and provide assistance with written assignments to those for whom English is not their first language.
Practice description
Working with people in distress can be emotionally draining. If not addressed, it can cause long-term exhaustion or burnout, which in turn may lead to a reduction in professional effectiveness and a growing sense of job dissatisfaction.
Supervision is an opportunity to reflect on the impact of working with people in difficulty, consider questions of personal and professional boundaries, and develop effective working strategies.
While supportive colleagues or managers can provide valuable assistance, many professionals appreciate the opportunity to explore their concerns with someone independent.

About me and my therapy practice
An integrative psychotherapist, I believe passionately that psychotherapy has lasting benefits and the potential to support and enable us to live a fulfilling life.
Everyone is different but we all need to be listened to, heard, understood and feel a sense of belonging and connection.
I work creatively with the aim of helping you make tangible changes that will positively impact your way of being, in relation to yourself, others and your wider world.
Practice description
I work across a broad range of issues and have a particular interest in life’s transitions.
These can be sudden and unexpected, such as redundancy or loss, or those that approach gradually, like ageing, retirement or children leaving home.
We all have to confront challenging new situations from time to time but trying to do so alone can feel overwhelming.
My first session
Please email me if you think you might like to work with me.
I will then suggest that we have a brief telephone conversation in order that we can begin to get a sense of one another and whether we feel we could work together.
Should we then arrange to have an initial consultation, I will invite you to send or give me a brief autobiographical sketch summarising where you come from, any significant events you can recall from your life - including whether or not you’ve had therapy before - and what has prompted you to seek therapy at this time.
