About me and my therapy practice
I offer non directive Person Centred Supervision (Rogerian). My supervision is based on the belief that the Person Centred conditions are both necessary and sufficient.
I trained 30 years ago in an experiential three year course. My tutors were some of the best proponents of the Person Centred Approach: Tony Merry, Irene Fairhurst, Jerold Bozarth, Peggy Natiello, Colin Lago, as well as Sheila Laugh and Stephen de Brett.
If you already work this way, or are interested in improving your Person Centred practice, I will help you to explore your unique way of offering Person Centred therapy in gentle and collaborative supervision
Practice description
The frequency and length of supervision sessions will be determined by you, although I may explore with you the efficacy and practicality of more or less frequent sessions.
My fee structure is based on a 60 minute hour. If you'd like a different session length we can discuss how this could work.
I request 24 hours notice of cancellations otherwise there may be a charge, unless cancellation as based on a genuine unexpected emergency.
If you would like to arrange for joint supervision to include a colleague/s that is possible. Fees will renegotiated depending on numbers
My first session
The first session is no different from any other session. Throughout supervision we can look at what you need and whether you are receiving this.

About me and my therapy practice
I have been practising for more than 30 years and believe that each person has something unique and valuable to share. Together we can explore whatever you which to bring to therapy, and at your own pace. I am interested in people and have no interest other than to be open to what you bring and work with you to improve your life.
Practice description
I am non judgemental and will follow your lead. That doesn't mean I am a passive listener - I will meet you without a professional facade. We can meet one another as real people and are on a journey together, developing understanding. Others have described me as warm and caring, and I hope you would experience me that way too.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute appointment where you can see if I seem the right person for you. If you come for therapy the sessions are booked for 1 hour (60minutes).
I have no set format for our work together. Some people prefer to speak freely, others refer some prompting or questions to help them get started. Whatever your preference we will work that way.
I trust you to find your way forward with my help. Whatever brought you to therapy is where we could start, and together we will find whatever troubles you and try to overcome this.
I am used to working with people with depression, anxiety, grief, gender and sexuality questions, cultural issues, substance use and more.
Despite 30 years experience everyone I meet in therapy has a new story unique to them. I feel privileged that you might share your story with me.
