About me and my therapy practice
My supervision qualification is humanistic and I have worked with counsellors of many modalities, including person-centred, integrative and psychodynamic. I supervise both qualified and student counsellors who, in turn, work with both young an adult clients. I also conduct group supervision for two youth counselling agencies.
I originally trained as a psychodynamic counsellor; my counselling practice has become increasingly integrative with experience. I work with young people and adults, both with the traditional 'talking therapy' and with the use of creative tools, including sandplay.
My aim when supervising is to provide a safe, supportive, thought-provoking and creative space in which to explore any and all aspects of your client work.
Please feel free to contact me and arrange an initial meeting to explore how we might work together. I look forward to your enquiry.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychodynamic and integrative counsellor, with many years of experience working with adults and young people, both in private practice and a BACP accredited youth agency.
Often, even though we may want to change, we feel stuck in familiar ways of dealing with situations and unable to move forward in our lives.
The opportunity to be listened to, in confidence and without judgement, is the essence of counselling. From this basis it then becomes possible to build a trusting relationship which is at the heart of any work that we do together.
Our work together will be personalised to your needs and conducted at the pace that you want. Our sessions can include creative and play activities as suits you. The aim of our work is to enable you to understand your situation and make the changes in your life that you want.
Arranging an initial appointment is the first step towards these changes. Our first meeting gives you the opportunity to talk about what brings you to counselling and what you hope to get out of it, to ask any questions you may have and for us to discuss how we might work together. I welcome your enquiry.
