About me and my therapy practice
I have Online supervision available, I am a MBACP counsellor and supervisor but will happily work with people from any of the main membership bodies
I work with adults and children as well as Supervisee’s that work with adults and children too.
I have a wealth of life experience and a dedicated counsellor and trainer. I have a vast experience working with children in different areas (10+years) and it has led me to specialise in child and adolescent counselling. I am an counsellor that will always keep an open mind and want to help support you in the best way you need. I am a LGBTQIA+ Ally with having personal experience with those close to me navigating their journey. And we are currently supporting potentially our own neurospicy daughter 😊
I am qualified in :-
Diploma in Supervision
Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People.
Diploma in Tutor Skills
Certificates in:
Couple Counselling,
Working with adults survivors & abuse
Walk and Talk Therapy
I also hold a level 3 in play work.
Practice description
I like to use a range of modalities to inform my practise as I believe that one size doesn’t fit all, we will take the same approach with supervision. We will analyse the best modality or type of work that would work best for your client and how to progress them.
This is also true for Supervisees not every approach will work for them, I aim to have a flexible approach to support them in the areas they need. This can be client work, identity but also a counsellor cannot pour from an empty cup so we will look at what is going on in your life too.
I am Integrative counsellor with main modalities being person centered, cbt and TA . With supervision I like to work with the integrated developmental method and the cyclical model
I do work creatively and so would love to help you to explore creativity in the supervision sessions and see how that would work with your own clients
I work for a local college so can help with coursework if needed for students and offer a student discount.
My first session
I do an introductory chat first off just to see if we work well together and have the same energy. Ask any questions or if your a trainee is there any additional requirements from your training provider.
We then will talk about our back grounds what brought us into counselling, how our practice is going or our training and how you would like to use supervision

Practice description
My counselling room is a safe open space for you to bring whatever you would like, this is your time. I am happy to adapt my style to your need.
We can use tools in the therapy room such as talking therapy, drawing, music or pieces of equipment. We can work with what you feel comfortable with but also you may want to try something new.
I work in person and online or if you prefer to go for a walk we can do that too!
My first session
In our first session we will be going through our contract making sure we both understand what we will be doing. Then once this is done will ask you to talk about about what has brought you to counselling.
