About me and my therapy practice
Hi there
I’m Abigail Warnock: I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I hold a BA (Hons) in Theology and Counselling from Middlesex University, and I am a registered member of the BACP.
I know from my own experience that finding the right supervisor is crucial. You have to feel comfortable with them, trust them and be confident that they will grow you as a therapist. Working together with a supervisor is all about making sure you develop, so your practice can develop and deliver what is best for your clients.
If you are looking for counselling supervision, for your face to face, online or telephone practice, we could be a great fit.
I have worked with individuals and couples, across person-centred, cognitive behavioural, gestalt, psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, transactional analysis, systemic and solutions-focused modalities.
I have a deep interest in autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions. I have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community and helped clients address abuse, anger, anxiety, bereavement, burnout, depression, domestic abuse, eating disorders, illness, identity, loss, personality disorders, parenting, pregnancy, relationship breakdown, stress, spirituality, sexuality and trauma.
I draw on the REMA model to establish what is happening in a person’s relationships, embodied experience, meaning making and agency, to see how each of these areas impact and interact with each other.
I have trained with Counselling Tutor, to acquire an Advance Certification in Clinical Supervision including online and telephone working. This enables me to offer you individual or group clinical supervision either remotely of face-to-face in a warm, supportive and empathic way.
If you are looking for supervision, I warmly invite you to reach out to me via: abbiewarnockcounselling@gmail.com to arrange an informal conversation. We can meet online or via the phone, and you can get a feel for how we might work together and if it is the right fit for you.
