About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Counselling Supervisor, having completed my training at Staffordshire University in 2023. In addition to my supervisory qualifications, I am also 3 years post-qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University. With a strong foundation in both theory and practice, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to my supervisory work.
My approach to supervision is rooted in a person-centred theory, where I prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for supervisees. This allows for open exploration, personal growth, and the development of professional skills in a way that aligns with the individual’s values and needs.
Whether you are navigating ethical dilemmas or reflecting on your therapeutic relationships, I am committed to offering guidance throughout.
Practice description
I offer a free introductory call which should not take longer than 20 minutes. This is where we can decide if I am the right supervisor for you.
You will be invited to take some time to consider, then if you are happy to continue we can schedule our first session.
You can use your supervision sessions as a reflective exercise, to consider ethical dilemmas, to explore your counsellor/ client relationships or however you feel you need to.
I will usually offer 1.5 hours per month or as per the standard BACP requirements for your particular situation.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and empathetic counsellor and clinical supervisor based in Westlands, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, just a short drive from Keele University and Staffordshire University.
With over 7 years in the mental health field and 3 years of experience post-qualification as a counsellor/psychotherapist from Keele University, I offer a person-centred approach to counselling. This means I’m here to support you through whatever you bring to the sessions, offering a safe, confidential space to explore your feelings, emotions, and life experiences. At times, I may also suggest other therapeutic interventions tailored to your needs.
My specialism lies in supporting neurodivergence, and I take great pride in my neuro-affirming practice, ensuring that all clients feel valued and understood. I also have experience in bereavement counselling, mental health support, and addressing domestic issues. My accreditation from RNIB and pending accreditation with the BACP reflect my commitment to a high standard of ethical practice.
Currently working as a university counsellor, I have the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients, and I offer a fully inclusive service to all individuals seeking support. You can trust that you are in safe hands with me as I create a compassionate and welcoming environment for each client.
