About me and my therapy practice
As a Clinical Supervisor I strive to provide a supportive and containing environment to safely explore the complexities and nuances of clinical work to facilitate your professional development and growth. I have experience working with newly qualified and experienced counsellors as well as trainee counsellors.
I lead group and individual supervision, so I'm open to exploring group options if it feels suitable (fees would be negotiated accordingly).
Practice description
I draw from supervisory theoretical models as well as my theoretical modality to look at the relational dynamics between client and therapist and therapist and supervisor, I'm a relational therapist who leans heavily on psychodynamic approaches to make sense of clients' material, in this sense, you can expect the space to offer a healthy combination of warmth, self-reflection, and safe and gentle challenge.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get a flavour of who we are and how we work. It will allow us to see if we're a good fit relationally and therapeutically.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm trained as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, which means that I integrate different theoretical approaches, including mainly person centred and psychodynamic approaches. In practice this means that I focus on what is relevant in the here and now (person-centred) whilst also looking at how family relationships and early life experiences impact and influence the present issue (psychodynamic). Although, this is my main approach I’ve been trained in a wide range of different theoretical frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) and working with trauma.
Practice description
I strive to provide a safe, nourishing and empathetic environment that enables my clients to get in touch with their true selves and find the best version of themselves within. In the counselling room, the therapeutic work is collaborative and cooperative, and the therapeutic relationship is the vehicle for the clients’ self-discovery journey.
In my work as a counsellor, I’m experienced in working with self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, early childhood trauma and its impact on adult life, and a whole wide range of emotional problems that arise during a person’s lifespan, such as bereavement, finding purpose and meaning in a new season of life.
Previously and additionally to my therapeutic work, I worked with young adolescents as Head of Pastoral Care in a secondary school in West London, which has granted me a lot of patience, resilience and most of all creativity and out of the box thinking! I’m always open to think about and create new ways to meaningfully attain therapeutic outcomes with my clients.
I am registered member of the BACP and have an MSc in Health Psychology.
