About me and my therapy practice
I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and an art psychotherapist with working in Brighton and Hove in training for my EMDR consultancy. I have thirteen years’ experience working therapeutically with art therapy and EMDR in London, and the Brighton and Hove area. Until I complete my EMDR consultancy (estimated end 2025) I am offering a low cost supervisory rate of £50 per session.
I trained in the NHS and have worked for charities across London and the South East. My experience includes Brighton and Hove CAMHS, Westminster MIND and Sussex NHS partnership and FosterCareUK.
Post-qualification I worked for Brighton-based charity for Young Oasis for three years, where I developed the Young Women's Therapy service, serving vulnerable 18-25 year olds affected by familial substance misuse.
I am a Europe Accredited Practitioner in EMDR and have completed additional training in Attachment-focused EMDR. I am currently working towards becoming an EMDR consultant. I work in private practice on Church Road in Hove.
I hold a Masters degree in Art Psychotherapy from The University of Roehampton. I am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a registered member of the BACP (MBACP), member of The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and I am accredited member of EMDR UK.

About me and my therapy practice
I believe that the therapeutic relationship should be one of mutual respect and I work hard to create an atmosphere where you will feel safe to express how you are feeling. I work psychodynamically, which means that I explore conscious and unconscious feelings, your past experience and relationships and how they may be influencing your life today. When working with trauma, I ground a person in the present, to ensure they feel safe and not overwhelmed by looking at the past.
