About me and my therapy practice
Are You Ready to Grow as a Therapist?
As a therapist working with adolescents and young adults, you face complex challenges every day. Whether you're in a high schools, Alternative provision, CAMHS, and anything in between, you’ve chosen to support young people during some of the most pivotal moments of their lives. There is alot to love about the role, but it’s not without its challenges.
Do these struggles sound familiar?
- You’re navigating ethical dilemmas while trying to stay true to your values.
- Looking for genuine ways to connect with young clients battling emotional or behavioural challenges?
- You’re looking for guidance on how to adapt to a wide range of adolescent needs—cultural differences, identity exploration including LGBTQ+, or neurodivergence.
- You want to feel more confident in your therapeutic choices and professional identity.
This is where I come in.
With over a decade of experience working with teenagers, young adults, and their families, I've lived the pressures your faceing. I’ve spent nine years in high schools, liaised with CAMHS, Social Care, police, and other third parties, and worked with a diverse range of clients—from gang members to elite athletes. Whether you're navigating a complex case or struggling with professional isolation, I offer a space where you can reflect, learn, and grow.
My approach is about empowering you to become the therapist you aspire to be. I don’t just help you solve problems—I help you develop your confidence, skills, and your therapeutic identity as a counsellor. Whether you’re a newly qualified therapist or have years of experience, my goal is to support you in building resilience and thriving in your practice.
Practice description
Why Choose Me as your Supervisor?
Specialised Support I have a particular focus on adolescent mental health, parental guidance, LGBTQ+ issues (including gender identity), and neurodivergence (especially high-functioning ASD). I can offer guidance on navigating mainstream school provisions, transitional periods, and family dynamics.
Holistic Development I believe that the best therapists are those who bring their authentic selves into the work. I will help you nourish the parts of yourself that make you an exceptional counsellor.
Flexible Sessions I offer both in-person and online supervision, Monday through Thursday, between 11 am and 7:30 pm, so you can fit your professional development around your busy schedule.
Let’s Work Together
Supervision isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about nurturing your growth as a therapist. If you're looking for a supervisor who will support and challenge you, while helping you develop your own voice and confidence, get in touch today.
Let’s discuss how I can help you on your professional journey.
Contact me to arrange an initial consultation.
My first session
The first step working together is a free 20-30 minute online consultation. This is a relaxed opportunity for us to meet and discuss how I work and the services I offer. We’ll take some time to explore your needs and decide if I’m the right fit to support you. If, at any point during the consultation, we feel I may not be the best match for your needs, I will be happy to guide you toward more appropriate supervisor.
If we decide to move forward, I will send over a supervision contract and intake forms for you to complete before our first full session. In that first session, we’ll review these documents in detail to ensure we’re both clear on the structure of our work together. My goal is for you to leave the session with a clear understanding of who I am and confidence that I can help you reach your professional goals.

About me and my therapy practice
With 10 years working in high schools with people who battle anxiety, anger, relationships and all the other tricky stuff. Through bad days and (a bit of) bad language, mistakes, and setbacks, therapy is by no means a perfect journey. But I promise it is a worthwhile one. Adolescence is complex, I’m here to listen to you with an open mind.
Life can be amazing, just like life is unpredictable. I want to show you that negative feelings do not have to be your normal. Helping people is my passion, and for the last 10 years, I have been lucky enough to call it my job. Feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to chat about the next step in your journey!

Let me walk you through what it's like to work with me!
It all begins with a simple email. Reach out to me, and we'll arrange a free 20/30-minute online consultation. This is our chance to get to know each other. I'll explain my approach, discuss services, and most importantly, listen to your needs. If, for any reason, we find that I'm not the right fit for you, I'm happy to point you in the direction of more appropriate services.
If you like what you hear and feel I could be the right therapist for you, we'll arrange the appointment type that suits you best. Whether you prefer face-to-face sessions or the convenience of online therapy, your comfort and preferences are what are most important to me.
I understand that everyone has unique needs and preferences, which is why I offer both face-to-face and online appointments. Regardless of how we meet, I want you to feel comfortable and at ease. When you step into my space, you're welcomed into my home, where your comfort is my priority. Whether you prefer shoes off and crossed legs on the couch or a cup of tea, your comfort matters to me.
I also offer online bookings, so my clients can create, pay, and manage their appointments online if they choose. Forgetful? No problem. If you need more reminders so you don't miss an appointment, I am all set up to meet your needs.
Building a strong relationship with my clients is essential to me. Trust is the foundation upon which we can work together towards your goals. We will work at your pace, ensuring comfort and progress. Whether you're a teenager facing difficulties or a parent seeking support, I'm here to walk alongside you, providing a supportive environment where you can thrive.
So, if you're ready to take the next step, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
My first session
So this is an idea of what your first session with me will look like.
It all begins with a welcome email. Before your scheduled appointment, you'll receive a friendly email from me. Inside, you'll find our counselling contract and an intake form. This helps you familiarise yourself with the topics we'll cover and share essential personal information upfront, avoiding the need to spend therapy time on admin. If you encounter any challenges with the forms, don't worry. We will go through them together during our session anyway. I send them ahead of time so that you can become familiar with the contract and have time to think of any further questions you may have.
When you arrive, whether in person or online, I will give you time to get into the headspace and get a drink, ensuring you are ready to begin. We'll start by reviewing the counselling contract together. This is the framework of our therapeutic time together, ensuring that you're fully informed and comfortable with the process. If there is anything you'd like to adjust or discuss further, we'll take the time to address them until you're completely satisfied.
Once we're happy with the contract, we'll move on to the heart of your first session: This is your chance to share what you hope to achieve through our time together, whether it's managing anxiety, navigating relationships, or gaining a deeper understanding of yourself. By understanding your unique needs and expectations, we can tailor your sessions to ensure they align with what you want to achieve in therapy, empowering you to take the first steps towards who you want to be.
By the end of your first session, my aim is for you to feel confident that you are starting a counselling journey you want to be on. If you have any questions or concerns along the way, I'm here to provide guidance and support.
