About me and my therapy practice
The clinical supervision I offer allows us to think about what is happening for your clients, for you and collectively. Allowing us to reflect on what are we making together, how are we making it and who are we becoming as we make it, in enhancing the therapeutic process.
Our aims are to develop and enhance your practice and the continued well-being of your clients.
As well as individual supervision, I am able to facilitate clinical supervision (peer) groups for counsellors, mental health and skilled support professionals.
Practice description
As a qualified, experienced Integrative Counsellor I have worked in a range of settings supporting children, young people, late teens / early 20's and adults experiencing significant difficulties and mental health challenges in life.
My approach is about us working together to maximise our supervisory relationship, utilising the Proctor Model of normative (managerial), formative (educational) and restorative (supporting and relating).
Which is supported by reflecting through the 7 eyed model (Hawkins and Shohet), what is being brought into the sessions and within the supervisory relationship - client, strategies, interventions, relationships, personal impact, internal processes and wider context (organisation, cultural and ethical issues).
With a strong agenda focussing on what (facts), how (feelings) and what now (actions, learning and next steps).
My first session
I offer a free 30 minutes consultation to see how we can work together. This will allow us to start to explore what your hopes and asks are from supervision.
In the first session we would develop and agree the supervision agreement - what do we want to include, how do we wish to address any specific asks and what do we feel now before we move forward with the supervisory journey.
With a supporting framework of what is going on for you at the moment, what are you bringing today, how shall we divide / use the time available, what do you feel now about what we have worked on today and what are you now taking away.
£50 per video session for qualified counsellors and MH professionals
£40 per video session for counsellors in training

About me and my therapy practice
Are you questioning life, struggling, feeling lost, wondering what is wrong and why does it feel I'm not getting it quite right!
I can help by offering tailored therapy, which safely integrates ideas and strategies, which incorporates your autonomy, beliefs, needs and goals to support you in your personal journey in dealing with the issues that are troubling you.
I am open to work with whatever you bring and my experiences include;
- Anxiety and panic attacks
- Depression
- ADHD
- Autism
- OCD
- Low self esteem and self confidence
- Relationship issues
- Stress
- Trauma
- Bereavement and Loss
- Feeling sad and loneliness
You're not alone and within us we all have the need to be connected with ourselves and sometimes we struggle feeling connected to others, to feel okay and have our own sense of purpose. We live in a fast pace changing world, which doesn't always support us, when we wish to be truly heard, at our pace and to have the private time to reflect and make changes.
Practice description
I am trained to safely integrate ideas and strategies from recognised therapeutic approaches and will do so to ensure that our work together is appropriate for you.
Takes courage to say I need support. You've taken that first step by looking for a counsellor and I'm hoping you will let me be part of your personal journey. Where I can help you find that inner voice that can talk freely about what is causing you heartache, distress, fear. Whilst identifying strategies and building on your resilience.
In practice for 6+ years working with adults, young people and children. Working privately, with a charity providing mental health services in the Gloucestershire area from the ages of 9 through to 25 years.
Currently with a community based charity co-operative focussed on mental health support / holistic mentoring for all ages and a large charity covering South Wales / Gloucestershire providing bereavement services to children, young people and adults.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minutes call to see if we can work together and I start to understand your hopes from counselling.
In the first session I would look to work with you to explore at your pace what you would wish to change and whether you feel you can make changes. Including what your hopes are from counselling, what is happening in your world currently, your likes, dislikes and how you would wish to review our counselling journey.
It’s the start of building a therapeutic relationship which will gently explore your inner voice, identify strategies and build on your resilience.
My rate is £55 in person and £45 by phone or video
