About me and my therapy practice
Hi and Welcome to my supervision listing. You may be looking for a new supervisor, or contemplating making a change at a future date. Being a therapist and working with my own supervisor I know how important it is to find the right supervisor to support you in your work.
I am an experienced CPCAB Level 4 Tutor, integrative counsellor and relationship therapist and have over 15000 hours as a therapist and worked with Adults, children, young people and individuals with a range of issues.
My passion is Relationship Counselling as I feel that all relationships are at the heart of how we live our lives. To build and maintain healthy relationships for both my clients and supervisees is very important to me.
I am also a qualified CPCAB registered tutor and owner of Aloe Counselling Training. We teach all level of the CPCAB qualification to students. I have a clear understanding of what students are looking for in a supervisor. I am able to offer support with client work as well as help students navigate their counselling training practice. I believe that shaping well rounded, supported and competent student counsellors is essential to help build that resilience we need when we work with our client’s and manage our own journeys as well.
I have supported Supervisees working in a variety of settings and with a range of presenting issues.
I passionately believe that supervision should be supportive, containing, and appropriately challenging, so that you can endeavour to be the best you can be for your clients, whilst also attending to your own self-care and professional growth.
The relationship needs to feel safe enough to bring your vulnerabilities as well as your successes.
You may also wish to bring organisational issues that are affecting your work, or explore ways to develop your role or service.
Who do I supervise?
I offer online & phone supervision to qualified counsellors as well as students completing their placement hours as a requirement of their chosen courses.
Practice description
Supervision can be a space to offload, to reflect on practice, to gain new insights, to find ways forward when feeling stuck, to recognise when your own issues are impacted by, or impacting on the work, to recognise and celebrate good practice, to identify areas for professional development and attend to your self-care needs.
You may also wish to bring organisational issues that are affecting your work, or explore ways to develop your role or service.
