About me and my therapy practice
About my supervision practice
My aim is to provide a space to reflect and explore, and where we can learn from each other (and our clients). I aim to create a space that is creative and courageous.
I am an accredited Person Centred Counsellor and a Person Centred Supervisor. I offer supervision to Counsellors and Psychotherapists who utilise the Person Centred Approach within their practice. I hold a Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision (CPCAB).
Between supervision sessions you are welcome to reach out to me if there are any urgent issues. If necessary, we will schedule an additional short phone call to address burning questions or to make an action plan.
I offer individual supervision as well as group supervision. If you are interested in finding out more about me and my practice, please reach out and I’ll be happy to answer any questions.
About me
I used to be a counselling tutor, and I really valued being in a dynamic teaching environment. Although I enjoyed teaching, I found that the real gift of this work was learning from my students. They often challenged me to think in new ways and approach client work from a different perspective. Nourishing budding counsellors and seeing them improve was a privilege, and that experience led me to train as a supervisor.
As a counsellor I have often struggled to find a supervision space that felt supportive, contained and congruent. With that experience in mind, I aim to offer the best quality supervision that I can. I hope that I can create a space where we can talk openly about what you need and how I can best support you.
I manage my own private practice, and I am a full-time counsellor. Further areas of study have been addiction, LGBTQ+ counselling, suicide, shame, bereavement and compulsivity. I have also studied Existential and Cognitive Behavioural Counselling.
The models of supervision that I utilise are the Cyclical and the Seven Eyed Models of Supervision.

About me and my therapy practice
As a Person Centred counsellor my role in the therapeutic relationship is that of an equal rather than an expert or teacher. I will walk alongside you as you delve into the issues that you are facing. I will act as a guide, shining a spotlight upon things that you say or do. Counselling is not always easy but it can change the landscape of your life.
I work with a range of clients presenting with vastly different and unique issues. In my client work my aim will always be to enable you to find greater autonomy in facing life’s challenges.
The prospect of beginning therapy might feel unnerving especially if this is your first experience of personal counselling. The counselling process can be powerful and transformative. It might be difficult to make those first steps into personal counselling but I will work with you at your pace to ensure that you feel safe, supported and heard.

Training and Further Study
I studied Person Centred Counselling at Lewisham Counselling and Counselling Training Associates. I graduated with a distinction grade on the Higher Professional Diploma Course (Level 5) and was thrilled to be named as the winner of the award for outstanding development in my graduating year.
During my training I co-authored the research paper, ‘People's experience of viewing images of violence through the media, the impact upon them and how this may inform psychotherapeutic practice’. Since completing counsellor training, some specific areas of study have been addiction, LGBTQ+ counselling, suicide, shame, bereavement and compulsivity. I have also studied Existential and Cognitive Behavioural Counselling. These models have informed my practice but the principles of the Person Centred Approach are always at the core of my work with clients.
