About me and my therapy practice
I firstly would like to say hello and thank you for reading my profile. A little description of myself is that I am a respectful and qualified trauma informed Person-Centred counsellor / Supervisor, working with individuals and couples in private practice and for EAP’s. I love what I do and believe whole heartedly that supervision is a collaborative process, whereby I aim support you to the best of my ability in your work with your clients, whilst encouraging you to prosper and grow as a therapist.
Practice description
Offering a safe space to explore your client work, both cognitively or through creative processes, can encourage you to bring any issues or concerns you may be holding. Through deep level discussions we can explore and challenge any curiosities you may have, for you to feel supported and heard from within our supervision sessions. The safer you feel, I believe will enable you to bring yourself fully to our supervisory space.
Through my own experiences, I understand that having a supervisor who listens, shows warmth and is approachable, is vitally important for us to be able to grow and flourish within our profession. Imposter syndrome is something that can hamper us and on times feel like a very lonely place, so as your supervisor, I would welcome open and honest discussions to help alleviate any imposter syndrome feelings that may be experienced, whilst working with your clients.
It is recommended that you receive some of your supervision in the same format as you practice as a counsellor, therefore I can work currently with one-to-one supervision either online or on the telephone and can be fairly flexible with my hours of working. If you would like face to face supervision, then we can discuss this if the need arises.
Clinical supervision with myself is only available to those who reside in the United Kingdom.
Fees for online / telephone supervision are .....
£50 for 45 minutes, 1 hour - £60, 1.5 hours - £75.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a dedicated, respectful and passionate trauma informed counsellor and can work on a 1 to 1 basis or with couples. I will endeavour to achieve a therapeutic, confidential and positive relationship with you in order to explore any issues that are confusing you. Through talking, we can discuss your emotions and feelings and what is going on in your life and whether there is anything that you would like to change or achieve.
Through my own life experiences, I have developed many skills, which have assisted me in working as a Person-Centred counsellor. Person-Centred Counselling means that you will be given my full, professional commitment, whilst we work at a pace that is suitable for you. This is to encourage you to talk openly and freely about your emotions or whatever you feel is important in that moment. When working with either individuals or couples, the aim of a talking therapy is to enable people to experience communicating or interacting in possibly new ways, that in turn nurture and allow for a deeper, emotional closeness and intimacy. Through learning to communicate effectively and exploring and uncovering elements of a relationship, from your past or present, can have powerful and often positive effects. Increasing an individual or a couple’s awareness and responsibility within a relationship, can help towards recognising possible defences that may have arisen or possibly any resistance to change that has been identified within a relationship.
Couples therapy can be viewed as enriching for couples who may be going through a difficult time, whilst being keen to explore their relationship at a deeper level. Having the safe space to unravel often deep-rooted emotions, can enable discussions to highlight strengths as well as weaknesses, thus enabling finding ways of maintaining and improving relationships, not simply saving them.
Practice description
I have been privileged to be able to support many people through their difficult times and from these experiences I have learnt that YOU are the expert in your life, and the one who holds the answers from within. It’s for us, by working together, to be able to untangle your feelings, further understand your experiences and for you to regain clarity and work towards the goals you wish to achieve. I have experience in working with charitable organisations, covering for example, domestic violence, relationship problems, alcohol and sexual abuse, low self esteem, depression and anxiety.
I recognise choosing a counsellor can be challenging and somewhat confusing on times, therefore, if you would like to contact me to discuss any questions you may have, then please contact me either on mobile number above or if you prefer, you can email me.
