About me and my therapy practice
I qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist at Warwick University in 2009 and my practice is in the village of Cropthorne, near Pershore. My approach to therapy is person-centred and I work with both individuals and couples. A trained coach offering coaching and supervision for some other professions, my usual rates are £60 per hour for individuals and £65 for couples.
Practice description
My counselling sessions last for 55 minutes and most people attend on a weekly basis. Although some individuals want to block book a number of sessions I will not expect you to commit to more than one session at a time and we can agree at the end of each meeting whether you would like to book a further session.
My first session
The first session is a time to get to know each other a little and to decide whether we want to work together. At this meeting I will explain how I work and ask you to outline what you are hoping to get from counselling. We can then begin to look at whatever may be troubling you and decide whether further sessions are appropriate.
