About me and my therapy practice

I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and Tutor who works with clients to actualise their potential. I have experience as a counsellor in Private Practice in working with diverse range of clients who bring with them a diverse range of concerns.

In working with counsellors in training, I support trainees to be safe, ethical practitioners who work in the best interests of their clients.

I have an interest in working with both clients and supervisees from under-represented communities, to improve access to Mental Health Support.

Practice description

I have recently completed Clinical Supervisor training. My base Counselling training is very much Person-Centred and continues to involve to integrate other modalities to ensure a supportive, pragmatic, client-centred focus.

My Supervisory way of working uses this as a foundation to combine the use of the Seven-Eyed Model, Carroll's Seven Tasks of Supervision alongside the CLEAR and IDM Models.

My aim is to facilitate a safe, ethical space in Supervision that ensures you gain support, have the opportunity for reflection and feedback whilst developing into the best practitioner you can be.

My first session

During the Initial session, this is an opportunity to determine whether we are the best fit for one another. We can discuss your initial counselling training, the CPD that you may have done,  your practice so far and how wish to develop this moving forward.

Initial sessions are 50 minutes in length and the fee is £30.

Beyond this, the fee will be determined by whether you're a counselling in training or a qualified counsellor. The time length of Supervision will also the vary.
