My supervision practice and personal philosophy is grounded in Rogers’ person-centred approach using the Seven Eyed Supervision model of Hawkins & Shohet, a style which compliments a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
I am in regular supervision of supervision and I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome! I am an experienced, UKCP registered therapist providing counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young people. I have a friendly, down-to-earth approach and offer a high professional standard of confidentiality and integrity. I will work alongside you, finding out what you need as an individual and tailoring therapy to meet your unique requirements.
I work on a one-to-one basis from a calm and comfortable garden studio in Hanwell, W7. In my work, I have helped people improve their emotional well-being and overcome a broad range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, difficulties at home and work, isolation, emotional overwhelm, or perhaps a feeling that something isn't quite right but not knowing why.
I have a wide range of skills and knowledge which allows me to work in ways that will suit you and support you to discover your inner resources. My approach is built upon the belief that each person has the potential to understand themselves and solve their problems within the support of a warm and trusting counselling relationship.
I also work with young people aged 11+, supporting them with issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, panic attacks and self-harm. I have many years of experience working with young people through my work at a youth charity, mainstream secondary schools and my current role as therapeutic lead at an alternative provision (PRU).
Whatever your reason for seeking counselling, I look forward to hearing from you.
Practice description
I offer face-to-face sessions in my garden studio located in Hanwell. I also offer sessions over the phone or via Zoom video sessions.
My first session
Deciding to start counselling is a courageous step but it can feel daunting wondering where to start in your search for a counsellor.
I offer a FREE initial telephone consultation where we can explore the issues you're facing and I can let you know if I think I can help.
If we feel we will work well together, we can arrange a time for an initial session costing £65. During this session, I may ask you some questions about what has brought you to counselling and your expectations for therapy. I can also let you know more about the way I work and we can decide if we think we will be a good fit.
