About me and my therapy practice
My initial training was a Masters qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (MA, Roehampton University). I now also hold a Diploma in Integrative Supervision for Individuals and Groups.
I have experience of working as a clinical supervisor within an organisation but am now currently only supervising therapists within my own private practice. I offer supervision to qualified therapists, to those in training or to those who are recently qualified and looking to start out on their journey after qualification.
Practice description
My integrative approach to both therapy and supervision is relational. I believe the key to effective supervision is the creation of a safe supervisory space so that supervisees can feel comfortable to bring themselves and all aspects of their work to our sessions.
My supervision approach is underpinned by Hawkings and Shohets Seven Eyed Model which can be a helpful framework to think about what is happening within the therapy.
My first session
During a first session we can think about how our therapeutic leanings might work together, your experiences of supervision and how you envisage using the space.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a relational integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with a support background in mental health and crisis work. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, life transitions, bereavement, relationship problems and low self esteem.
Sometimes the challenges of life can feel overwhelming and having the space to speak about things with someone who has no other place in your day to day life can be very helpful. People come to counselling for many different reasons. It may be a specific situation which is causing you distress or you may be struggling with difficult feelings and a more general sense of dissatisfaction and being stuck in your life. I offer a safe, non judgemental and confidential environment for you to explore and process these things. We can't change the past but with insight and understanding we can change how we feel in our present and counselling can help.
Practice description
I work from a first floor room in a spacious clinic close to the centre of Woking.
I also offer online appointments
My first session
Our first meeting is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and for us to think about what you need from sessions. Not only does the initial session give me a window onto what has been happening for you but also, very importantly, gives you a sense of if you would be comfortable working with me over a period of time.
