About me and my therapy practice
I offer person-centred supervision to counselling students and Counsellors in private practice. I have been working as a supervisor in private practice for 13 years.
My therapeutic model and approach enables Counsellors to speak freely about their client work, any concerns or doubts they may have, any issues with practical and ethical scenarios and of course, the counsellors well being and professional abilities regarding their case load and working conditions.
I have worked in different settings through my 26 years as a Counsellor and feel that I have a good enough understanding and appreciation of Our role in Other Peoples Lives regarding the counselling profession.

About me and my therapy practice
I work flexible hours Monday to Friday. I work to the clients needs and availability which means counselling appointment times do not have to be the same time and the same day of every week - this allows more access to counselling regarding, work, shift patterns, child care arrangements and other various commitments a person may have.
I work from home and have a separate Counselling office situated in the garden which is private and quiet.
I have 26 years experience as a person-centred Counsellor. I use other theoretical approaches and also work creatively, at times, with various therapeutic tools for example; colours, paper and crayons, stones and crystals and pen and paper and poetry.
I work within my professional capabilities and my training - which is always on-going in terms of; reading mental health articles, journals & books: attending conferences, seminars and workshops and involving myself in topical counselling research & studies.
I listen carefully to the client's story and offer my reflections and feedback to them. I work willingly and openly . I am always very interested in what people bring to the counselling room and I appreciate very much how difficult it can be for someone to begin to talk about themselves, their important issues/concerns, their feelings & emotions, losses, possible dilemma's, personal struggles and relationships. I am also very keen to learn of their hopes and dreams.
