Practice description
In my supervisory role I delve deep. Thinking about the client/therapist relationship. What is happening between the dyad or the group - what is noticed , what goes unnoticed...equally the supervisor therapist relationship.
Why open an old wound and cause more suffering? Because many of these wounds have closed dirty...there can be no true healing unless we can gently allow our clients to open and confront what festers inside.
My training was group and individual supervision from the Institute of group analysis, London - working psychodynamically .

About me and my therapy practice
Practicing Psychodynamic therapist for over 10 years
Our early experiences affect the way we think about ourselves, relate to others and adapt to stress later in our lives.
I offer my clients the freedom to pick the topics they wish to discuss in each session. This is important in my work as our thoughts, feelings, actions, dreams and experiences are all connected. They offer us clues into our concerns and unconscious. Exploring these can be hugely beneficial in helping make sense of what is underlying.
This offers the opportunity to really get honest with ourselves and confront our internal emotion truth. The traumas we suffer in life, no matter how small, can affect everything- from the partners we pick to the experiences we acknowledge or deny.
Our modern fast paced lifestyle has encouraged us to avoid thinking about emotional development in ourselves and our children. We often distract ourselves with gadgets, quick fixes and endless schedules finding ourselves exhausted and too busy to pause and dig deeper. In my work I offer the space to do just that.
