I work Monday to Wednesday as a counsellor and supervisor and have morning, afternoon and evening sessions available. I can support supervisee's online and face to face.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor, supervisor and counselling tutor and bring a variety of approaches to my work.  I feel that supervision is a vital component of a counsellors practice and aim to provide a safe space for supervisee's to process their client work.  I favour the 7 eyed model of supervision as I feel it enables me to explore all aspects of the supervisory and client relationship with my supervisee's.  I also integrate creative work into my work as a supervisor to enable supervisee's to reflect on their client work and experience of being a counsellor.  I welcome counsellors in all stages of their development from counselling trainees to experienced counselling professionals.

I work Monday to Wednesday as a therapist and have Morning, afternoon and evening sessions available.  I can offer weekly or fortnightly sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I am often asked what I specialise in as a therapist, and my response is that I specialise in people. There could be many reasons which have brought you to this point. Perhaps something doesn’t feel right in your life; something has happened which is affecting you or you want to change something but aren’t sure how. Whatever the reason, the point is that you're here. I provide my clients with a confidential and non-judgemental space where they can explore their thoughts safely.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy practice, a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with a Person-Centred foundation. Alongside Person Centred Practices, I incorporate , Existentialism, CBT, Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness into my work.

I have worked with clients facing lots of challenges, including the following:

Anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, family issues, anger management, relationship issues, job loss, living with neurodiversity, unhelpful thinking patterns, self-harm, living with a disability, exploring gender identity and gender transitioning and suicidal feelings.

In addition to counselling I am a lecturer delivering the CPCAB Level 4 diploma which I find really rewarding. I also design and deliver Mental health courses for businesses in Reading and the surrounding area and provide CPD sessions for counselling agencies.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapists)
