About me and my therapy practice
Do you worry about your future, relationships or work? Ever feel like you don’t know who you are? Do you scroll through social media searching but are not sure what for? Ignore signs that you should be taking more care of yourself? If any of those sound like you, then Inner Child Therapy for adults may help.
I tend to explore your relationship with you, with your past and with others. We may use creative counselling to heal woundings and to champion your inner child so you feel empowered, you belong and know who you are. This can support issues such as anxiety; depression; stress; trauma; abuse; narcisstist recovery; self esteem; and confidence building.
Practice description
I am an accredited counsellor, supervisor and tutor of counselling skills. I have a private practice in Dorset, UK and work with clients in person and remotely. I have specialised in inner child work for adults and am trained in humanistic and transpersonal/pyscho-spiritual modalities.
Alongside counselling, I offer somatic shamanism, emotional freedom technique and matrix reimprinting.
My first session
The first session is usually exploring what you need from counselling and a way of supporting this. Some people have specific goals, whilst others just need a confidential space to process our thoughts and feel our emotions. As I am a qualified science teacher and counselling tutor, I do provide psychoeducation readily to empower your perception.
