About me and my therapy practice
I believe supervision should be a place where you can breathe, reflect, and grow - both as a therapist and as a practice owner.
With over a decade in the field, I've experienced firsthand the challenges of building a sustainable practice. My approach combines thoughtful challenge with genuine support, creating a space where you can develop your unique therapeutic voice without burning out.
My Supervision Style
I aim to be:
- Direct yet supportive - I'll ask challenging questions that might push you outside your comfort zone, but always with your development and your clients' needs in mind
- Practically minded - Beyond theory, I'm here to help with the real-world challenges of private practice, from billing and administration, to marketing and self-care
- Genuinely invested - I care deeply about helping my supervisees develop a practice that's both clinically excellent and personally sustainable
What You Can Expect
Our supervision will balance clinical development with practical support. Together we'll:
- Explore client work with curiosity and depth
- Address the business aspects of practice that training rarely covers
- Create space for your self-care and professional boundaries
- Celebrate successes and learn from setbacks
Areas of Experience
I bring particular experience in:
- Integrative framework - I adopt a pluralistic approach to my work, having started out as an integrative therapist (psychodynamic and person-centred)
- Building and sustaining a private practice - Having built my own successful practice, I can guide you through the practical realities of marketing, admin systems, and financial sustainability
- Trauma-informed practice - Supporting your work with trauma presentations
- Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) - Supporting work with LGBTQ+ clients (themes such as shame, coming out, and identity) and diverse relationship structures
If you're looking for a supervisor who balances honesty with kindness and theory with practicality, please get in touch for a free initial chat.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, processing trauma, questioning your identity, or struggling with relationships? Many people come to therapy feeling exactly this way - and taking this first step shows remarkable courage.
In our work together, I am to create a warm, affirming environment where we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My approach combines professional expertise with genuine human connection, helping you move toward greater clarity, self-understanding, and emotional well-being.
Practice description
My Approach
I believe therapy works best when tailored specifically to you. Drawing on my integrative training, I'll adapt my approach to match your unique needs and goals:
- Exploring patterns that may be holding you back from living fully
- Processing difficult experiences safely using evidence-based techniques like EMDR
- Developing practical strategies for managing overwhelming emotions
- Affirming your whole identity across all aspects of who you are
- Improving relationships by understanding communication patterns and boundaries
Many clients I work with struggle with feelings of shame or self-criticism. Together, we'll approach these feelings with compassion, helping you develop greater self-acceptance and build healthier connections with others.

- Neurodiversity: Providing affirming support that recognizes and celebrates your unique strengths and perspectives
I'm particularly experienced in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, having specialized in gender and sexuality throughout my career. My practice is sex-affirmative, chemsex aware, and informed by an understanding of how societal factors impact mental health.
