About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Pippa. If you're looking for counselling supervision for your creative child and adolescent work, whether in-person or online, you've come to the right place.
I am currently completing Counselling Tutor’s 'Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online Working’ and offer free and low cost supervision sessions whilst I complete this journey.
Choosing the right supervisor is crucial. It's not just about finding any supervisor but finding the one who supports your needs, helps you grow your edges, and enhances your practice to better serve your clients.
I believe that finding a supervisor is like finding the right puzzle piece; it helps make sense of complexity, brings in a fresh perspective and feels like a comfortable fit.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you worried about your young person and unsure what will help? Perhaps you’d love to find someone experienced who can connect with and guide your teenager through this difficult moment.
I have been supporting young people in my private practice since 2018 and have more than a decade of experience working in schools and universities. I help teenagers experiencing stress, anxiety, sadness and other overwhelming feelings feel better, more empowered and confident within themselves.
In sessions I offer talking therapy, creative therapy (art and games), mindfulness (breathing exercises) and practical coping strategies. Using an integrative approach means we can tailor the approach to young people’s individual needs and makes therapy more approachable.
In my spare time I enjoy running, cooking and I also teach yoga classes to adults and young people.
Sessions are online using Zoom.
Practice description
I usually suggest meeting a couple of times for young people to get a feel for therapy and make the choice to carry on if they would like to. It's really important that they feel in control of this process. We spend some time gently exploring what they would like some help with and I support them to think about what they want to get out of coming to therapy.
Together, we create a safe space to think about feelings through talking, getting creative or playing games, working on practical coping skills or practising mindfulness. This tends to be an empowering process for them as they take the lead on their own healing journey.
I believe in research-based interventions and keep up-to-date on new therapy insights. I have a background in MSc Psychology adolescent research and have had my research referenced in a publication. I was fortunate enough to be asked to present my findings at a national conference and have also led mental health training workshops for professionals.
Testimonials:
"Thanks so much. It's great to see my daughter so happy and with her head straight. What an amazing difference. Thanks so much for your help. She's really enjoyed her time with you and really valued it. Great to know you're there for the future too - thanks again." (Parent)
"I’m just feeling much more aware of everything - like everything is just a lot calmer. There’s just less drama going on - at school and with my friends. Things feel easier." (Young Person)
"My son has loved his time with you, you have really helped. Thank you so much you have helped him so much I can’t thank you enough and if he ever needs to speak again we will be back." (Parent)
