About me and my therapy practice
I am a professional counselling supervisor (level 6). I offer individual supervision to both qualified and trainee counsellors, either face to face or online. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes depending upon your requirements and those of your agency and regulatory body.
BACP guidelines suggest:
For qualified counsellors the minimum recommendation for supervision is 1.5 hours per month
For trainee counsellors: 1 hour of supervision for every 8 hours of client work, not less than an overall minimum of 1.5 hours per month, delivered not less than fortnightly
The above is only a recommendation from the BACP. It is also a continual requirement for their accreditation process. If you are interested in accessing clinical supervision, then I offer a free initial telephone consultation where we can discuss your expectations of supervision. My aim is to provide the highest ethical standards, whilst supporting my supervisees in the development of their practice, keeping them and their clients safe.

About me and my therapy practice
If you are looking for counselling in a compassionate and non-judgemental way, then I might be a good fit for you. As an integrative therapist, I use a range of counselling styles. I am also an advanced BWRT practitioner.
I specialise in treating anxiety, whatever the cause, mainly using BWRT® (Brain Working Recursive Therapy). In my experience, BWRT the most effective type of therapy I have used. BWRT is not hypnotherapy. The results speak for themselves - please take a look at my testimonials on my website to see client feedback, case studies and for more information.
BWRT® can help with most problems much more quickly that conventional therapy, sometimes with only a couple of sessions, and even complex issues can be resolved in less time. In my experience, BWRT is the most effective approach I have used, producing permanent and often life changing results.
I offer a free initial phone consultation, in confidence and without obligation. Everything we talk about is confidential and always non-judgemental.
Please get in touch if you want more information or visit https://brainworktherapy.com/testimonials Thank you.

Free initial telephone consultation (up to 20 mins) so that you can find out about how I work and decide if I am the right person to help you. No obligation.
The first session is usually 90 minutes and provides the space for you to talk about the reasons you have decided to seek help. I will help you to get some clarity and we will discuss the best way forward. We will often start working on problems in this session.
I often use Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) because I believe it to be the most effective form of therapy. I still use more traditional approaches where they are helpful. BERT is not hypnosis.
