About me and my therapy practice

I offer integrative supervision based on the models with which I have the most experience; namely Transactional Analysis, Person-Centered, and Solution-focused therapy. My supervision training employed creative methods of which I have found to be extremely beneficial for other supervisees. First and foremost I base supervision around the supervisee's goals, clients' wellbeing, ethics, and professional development. A supervisory relationship helps you to work as ethically and effectively as possible. My aim is to provide you with supervision that supports you and enables you to explore your work with clients to be the best therapist you can be. I understand how important it is to find the right supervisor for you, and am happy to talk and answer questions with anyone who may be interested in sessions. Please contact me to discuss further your requirements for supervision.

About me and my therapy practice

As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP, I work in a way that puts you first.

Being trained as an integrative therapist means that I tailor the therapy to suit your needs, integrating different models and ways of working. I offer the flexibility to work short or long term, depending on what you are looking for.

The client/therapist relationship, therefore, works as a collaborative partnership; a constantly evolving, negotiated and co-created dialogical process to which we both contribute.

Recognising and respecting you as a whole person, avoiding restrictive and possibly dated models that categorise or label, I work with you to explore the meaning you have made of yourself, your relationships with others, and your world.

As Psychotherapeutic Counselling is a shared process, finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is important. I, therefore, offer an introductory session at a lower rate to give us an opportunity to meet and see how we feel about working together before any commitments.

My first session

The first time we meet will be for an assessment, and this is charged as a full session.

In this session, it offers us a chance to get to know each other, hopefully putting you at ease, and allowing myself the opportunity to gain insight into your wants and expectations from therapy as well as a painting a picture of your story.

If you would like to chat to me first I am happy to offer a brief call, and respond via email.
