I use an integrative approach to counselling drawing from Psychodynamic and CBT, depending on your needs. Looking back at our past can shed light on our present experiences and struggles. 

CBT can provide tools that can help with anxiety. 

Before I embarked on my career in Counselling I ran youth projects with up to 120 teenagers on residential programmes at anyone time! This finely tuned my listening skills, dealing with many crisis, whilst becoming adept at the issues we face as we emerge into adults! As part of this I delivered workshops around drugs&alcohol, gender&identity, and healthy relationships. 

Along with my private practice I work at Sussex University Counselling service with over ten years experience, this has further developed my interest in the issues we face in early adulthood. 

I’ve been described as warm, friendly and relaxed. This can help you feel comfortable to open up about the issues you are facing. 

Counselling can be daunting, but I can help to make it feel less daunting and something that rather than dreading, you can feel comfortable and look forward to. 

Each session lasts for 50 minutes and the most important part of the therapeutic process is you feel comfortable and able to talk about your issues. 

Together we can work through any overwhelm and anxiety that you might feel in the sessions.

First sessions can be scary, I can help to make you feel comfortable and we can discuss your reasons for seeking help. Together we can find a focus and discuss how many sessions you might need.
