I offer individual clinical supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors on Thursdays and Fridays both face-to-face in Banbury and online.

I am a qualified supervisor with a CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision.

I am an Accredited Member of the BACP with eight years counselling practice experience that includes working with adults of all ages and children and young people. 

I believe in cultivating mutually respectful and collaborative supervisory relationships that enable counsellors to grow and develop while providing safe, ethical and competent services to their clients.

As an integrative humanistic counsellor, I draw on Person-centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis theories. I also use the Seven-Eyed process and IDM developmental models of supervision.

I offer a free 30 minute introductory session for us both to get a feel for whether we'd be the right fit for each other.

I work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, afternoons and evenings and Saturday mornings.

In the beginning, you may not be clear about what is troubling you, but talking confidentially to a trained counsellor can be immensely relieving and helpful. As we work together, I will not be giving you advice or telling you what to do, but rather supporting you to work things out in your own way. I believe that each of my clients has a unique inner world and language that requires a unique type of counselling. As an Integrative Counsellor, I am trained to draw on many different ways of working to tailor a unique approach to each of my clients. These ways of working are mostly "Humanistic" and include Person-Centred Counselling, which means I will be listening carefully to your thoughts and feelings; Gestalt Counselling, where awareness of what is happening in your body in the "here and now" is important; Transactional Analysis and Attachment Theory, which are mostly about your patterns of relating to other people; and Existential Counselling, which focusses on the human condition.
