About me and my therapy practice
I practice the traditional supervision model and the cognitive behavioural supervision model and think the sharing of information and knowledge is an imperative part of supervision. I believe the client should always be at the centre of our work and practice BACP values and ethics at all times.Practice description
I always ensure the best for the client and organisation at all times. I also draw into supervision how our own personal values, beliefs, personal experiences and cognitive internal dialect can influence our practice. As a therapist I believe that engaging in supervision and personal therapy are an imperative part of my work and this has strengthened my practice as a therapist and supervisor. In turn, encouraging and helping practitioners to build self-awareness on their own values, beliefs, life experiences and triggers can enable self-growth and enable them to be the best practitioner for themselves, organisation and clients.My first session
I offer an initial session to complete an assessment and ascertain what is required either group or individual supervision.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist having 13 years practice experience using a number of modalities to include person centred, solution focused therapy , CBT and psychotherapy. I have extensive knowledge and experience in traumatic loss and chronic grief. This is the corner stone of my practice.I also have extensive experience of eating disorders, trauma and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm.
I have found that my experience and knowledge of traumatic loss and bereavement has provided a strong basis for my practice and I am continually building on my knowledge and experience on trauma, vicarious trauma and mental health issues and how they are all intrinsically linked and interconnected to trauma and loss.

In turn, encouraging and helping clients to build self-awareness on their own values, beliefs, life experiences and triggers can enable self-growth and enable them to understand why they are making life specific choices and how to address maladaptive behaviours and bring about positive change.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute initial session to complete an assessment and ascertain if I am able to help with the issues you present and to enable you the client to decide if you feel you can work with me. If not I will provide recommendations to signpost the client to the appropriate service/therapist.
