Currently offering Supervision.
Trained for online and face to face. I provide supervision within my private practice for qualified and trainee counsellors.
Supervision provides practitioners with regular and ongoing opportunities to reflect in depth about all aspects of their practice in order to work as effectively, safely and ethically as possible. In order to do this Supervisees need to feel supported in supervision as well as challenged and able to discuss all aspects of their work...including the not so great bits!
An open and honest relationship between us will help this develop.

I provide supervision FACE TO FACE or ONLINE (via Zoom). I offer a free 20 minute confidential phone consultation where we can discuss your requirements, its also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. We can then decide if we can work together therapeutically.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome
Have you experienced situations that have left you troubled or suffering from stress, anxiety, feeling depressed or lonely. Maybe from a separation, divorce or bereavement. You may not really understand why you feel this way or perhaps even understand who you are?
There are times in our lives where we all experience life situations and events that may leave us feeling overwhelmed. It may create anger, anxiety, stress and a feeling of powerless within our daily routines. These times can be very lonely and difficult to cope with.
How can you change this?
STEP 1 You have overcome the first and probably the hardest step towards change, by realising your need for support
STEP 2 You are now taking the second step towards change, by searching for a counsellor
STEP 3 Make contact, the time has come to open up and express your feelings in a safe confidential space
How can I help?
Perhaps you may be having trouble with bereavement, relationships or friendships or are looking for very specific tools and techniques to manage and cope with anxiety or stress. Or you may just want to know yourself a little better.
My aim is to create a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere. A safe space in which you feel accepted and understood, without feeling judgement or fear.
My role is to help to empower and facilitate you to explore, your thoughts and feelings around any difficulties or challenges you may be facing.
My approach is Person Centred, which focuses on client autonomy. You choose what to explore; your thoughts and feelings, any difficulties or challenges you may be facing, or for anything you would like to work through.
My core belief is that you are the expert on your own life, however given the right conditions you could discover more and at a pace that suits you.
My desire is to help you FIND YOUR WINGS AND SOAR
Practice description
Whether you’re experiencing the breakdown of a relationship, a bereavement, feeling anxious or depressed or just want to talk to someone who won’t judge, I believe I can help. Together we can explore the challenges you are facing and help to make sense of what you are feeling; so that you may be able to lead a more authentic and happier life.
I will work at a pace that suits you offering short or long term counselling encouraging and supporting you in any aspect of your life that you seek answers to and would like increased knowledge of.

My Specialism
My specialist areas are; Loss and Bereavement, Anxiety and Depression, Inner Child Work, Relationship issues, Sexual/Mental Abuse, Self esteem and Confidence issues. This list is not inclusive since I believe that all issues are linked in some way.
I work with adults and young people from age 14+, who may be experiencing many of the above.
Why I became a counsellor
I remember how I felt when I walked into a counselling room for the first time, I was so nervous I could hardly speak.
You are not on your own, I have been on my own counselling journey of personal experiences. As well as feeling the nerves I was also felt a sense of bravery, I had finally asked for help, more importantly I had taken the first step to my recovery.
From this experience, I felt the desire to help others to discover and understand their own life experiences.
My first session
Our first session will be very relaxed, I will offer you the space to tell me what you need help with and I will answer any additional questions you might have.
