About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified Supervisor, I work with other professionals such as counsellors and support workers with their client work. I help and encourage them to develop professionally and personally, by adhering to their agency policies and procedures, as well as a code of ethics which promotes good practice.
Although I am an Integrative Counsellor, I often work with Supervisees who work with different models and together we help establish a learning environment, of support and guidance, enabling discussions to help facilitate their clients’ needs, whilst ensuring that they themselves remain safe.
As I work with clients who are 18 and above and do not have any experience of working with children, I am afraid that I cannot offer supervision to anyone who works with clients who are under 16.
I also offer Clinical Supervision to case workers and advocates, who may receive internal supervision through their organisation, but also required to received external supervision to provide support and guidance with their case work.
My fees are:
1 hour Supervision: £60
1 hour and a half Supervision: £70

About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes in life we can feel broken or stuck. Perhaps events in our past haven’t been addressed fully or even at all, and we feel heavy or like they are holding us back and we just can’t shake free of the thoughts and feelings which go with them.
At other times we may just feel stuck after what can feel like a lifetime of trying and not being able to feel success. Maybe we secretly believe that we aren’t good enough to succeed, or perhaps we are just so terrified of getting it wrong that we’re paralysed with fear and ideas never turn into actions.
In an ideal world, we would have someone to talk to within our family or support network, but sometimes we don’t feel that we can because we don’t want to hurt their feelings or face their reactions. Counselling fills this gap and is a way to express how you really think and feel in a respectful, safe and non-judgemental way, with someone who is not emotionally involved.
I am a qualified and experienced Integrative and CBT Counsellor who works with adults from the age of 18, whose passionate to help you feel free of your past experiences which are still impacting you today, alleviating current stresses and situations which are currently causing you anxiety, low mood and sense of stuckness; as well as helping you develop ways to cope with future events in a way where you feel equipped to do so.
Practice description
My style of working is more conversational so that it can encourage a collaborative approach between us, developing a sense of trust, empathy and safety, whilst you receive a sense of not being judged and taking advantage of the fact that I am impartial and so therefore, your perspective is the most important thing.
As our sessions will be via the phone or via video call, you will need to ensure that you are in safe and confidential environment where you are comfortable and not overheard. I use Zoom for video calls as it allows me to lock our meeting and I send a new link every week to ensure that no-one else can access our sessions.
My first session
I offer an initial telephone consultation which gives us the opportunity to meet and discuss how counselling may help you. This is without charge or obligation.
If you would like to go ahead and book further sessions; the sessions can be held over Zoom or telephone and will be over 50 minutes. This is can be discussed further during our initial chat.
