I offer a supportive environment where a therapist can regularly discuss and reflect on their work. The focus of supervision may include client's material, the counsellor's process, theory, ethical issues and self-care. My aim is to enable more awareness, confidence and ethical competence in order to offer clients the best service possible as well as assisting and supporting the development of the counsellor.

I am an experienced and qualified supervisor with a Diploma in ‘Relationship-Based Supervision of Individuals & Groups’ by Ibis Consultancy and I am a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor of Groups.

I have worked as a clinical supervisor at One Therapy Brighton, Survivor’s Network, Cruse Bereavement Care, GamCare and BHT Mental Health & Wellbeing Services.

I can offer weekly, fortnightly or monthly supervision, individual or group, face to face or online.

Senior Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, Fellow member of ISPC, EMDR Europe Accredited practitioner and clinical supervisor with over 18 years experience.

I work with individuals and couples presenting with a wide range of issues. I have extensive experience in safely working with trauma, sexual abuse as well as addictions, bereavement and loss.

I work with a Person-Centred and Humanistic approach and I believe that every individual has a natural potential for growth, change and self-determination.

I've had a long interest in body psychotherapy and somatic psychology and my counselling practice is informed by the latest research in neuroscience, the fundamental interconnection between mind and body and how trauma impacts the body and the nervous system.

I'm passionate about my work, it is a privilege accompanying my clients on their journey towards better emotional and psychological wellbeing. I am committed to continued professional and personal development so that I can better help and support my clients on that journey.

I am bilingual and can offer sessions in Portuguese. I welcome clients from any cultural background and I have an interest in working with issues relating to cultural identity and belonging.

I'm a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the EMDR Association UK and a Fellow member of the International Society of Psychotherapy and Counselling (ISPC). I abide by their Ethical Frameworks for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
