About me and my therapy practice
Finding the ‘right supervisor’ that is a good fit for you is essential for you to mature in your profession; it’s important you appoint a supervisor that you feel comfortable to be honest and transparent in your case work and your personal reflections; and finding a supervisor that inspires you to learn and grow.
I believe; I’m in a position of practitioner experience to share my learning and insights to support and encourage a developing counsellor; furthermore, I take great satisfaction witnessing your confidence blossom and grow into an ethical and accomplished counsellor.
My supervision approach is always warm, supportive and congruent. I aim to work in harmony of your learning needs and your learning style whilst always working within my professional ethical frameworks.
My professional experience includes a wealth of practitioner and therapeutic experience. My specific fields of professional experience amongst others include infertility, miscarriage, baby loss, sexual violence, child sexual abuse, domestic abuse and inter-relational trauma.
I’m a experienced practitioner, with a history of working for voluntary and third sector agencies, NHS settings, EAP and within private practice. I’m familiar and experienced working within safeguarding processes and the positive challenges working within a organizational setting and working within a multi disciplinary team.
Additionally, I’m a accredited member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (AMBICA) and currently employed by the NHS in a HFEA registered fertility clinic. I’m a experienced practitioner supporting couples and individuals with their infertility challenges, fertility treatments, baby loss and their involuntarily childlessness.
