I offer supervision to counsellors/therapists between 8.30am and 8pm weekdays, depending on availability.
About me and my therapy practice
I am currently completing a Level 6 supervisors course and for the duration of the course (until June 2025) am offering a concessionary rate.
I have 20 years experience of working in the therapy world, in private practice, charity sector, NHS and further education. I have a lot of experience with young adult clients and also clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
I originally trained in psychodynamic counselling at the University of Cambridge but in the intervening years have moved to a more integrative way of working. I was the lead officer for a counselling charity for 7 years and also facilitated an extensive programme of continuing professional development for therapists.
I have worked for agencies and local authorities and understand the different organisational and ethical challenges facing counsellors working in institutions.
Practice description
I work collaboratively with supervisees and offer a free initial online conversation to see what your supervisory needs are and evaluate how I can support you in your practice. It's also a chance for you to see if I am a good fit for you.
I work entirely online, adhere to BACP ethical guidelines and will work to standard professional boundaries. I will ask you to agree to a supervision contract, which can be discussed in the first session.
My first session
In the first supervision session we can run through the contract and see if you have any additional needs or requirements for supervision. We can discuss your practice setting and the type of clients you see and how you would like to present them and what you want to gain from your supervision. After that I hope to build a supportive and empowering supervision relationship where you can develop and grow in your practice.

About me and my therapy practice
I have 20 years experience as a counsellor after training psychodynamically at the University of Cambridge. I have a thoughtful and explorative approach to therapy and work with insight and empathy to develop resilience and personal growth in others.
I have worked extensively with young adults from a wide range of backgrounds and with diverse identities. I worked in the charitable sector including being a lead officer in running a counselling charity for 7 years. I have also counselled in further education, the NHS and in private practice.
I have a curiosity and interest in many things and bring knowledge and experience into my work in a warm and accessible style.
Practice description
Expect to be supported and listened to non judgmentally and to work collaboratively to explore and work through whatever areas of difficulty you are finding with your own mental health, relationships, identity or life experience.
I work ethically and like to ensure boundaries are maintained to provide a secure setting to safely express any vulnerabilities. I work online only and the sessions will be 50 minutes long, usually weekly.

The first fee session will be a more in depth discussion about your personal history and circumstances, what you would like to talk about in counselling and any outcomes you would like to see.
